SNS Trend Catcher
SNS Trend Catcher(이하 “본 익스텐션”)는 완전 독립형으로 동작하며, 수집한 데이터를 어떤 외부 서버로도 전송하지 않습니다.
1. 수집하는 정보
사용자가 팝업에서 “수집 실행”을 직접 누른 시점에만, 입력한 키워드로 검색된 X · Reddit · YouTube · 샤오홍슈 · TikTok · Instagram(해시태그) 의 공개 게시물·영상 메타데이터(게시물/영상 URL, 제목·본문 텍스트, 공개 작성자·채널명, 공개 메트릭(좋아요·리트윗·댓글·조회수·score), 발행 시각)를 읽습니다. 비공개 콘텐츠·DM·계정 정보·로그인 토큰은 접근하지 않습니다.
2. 정보의 사용·저장
- 읽어온 게시물은 사용자 기기 안에서만 처리되어 팝업에 표시됩니다.
- 사용자가 명시적으로 “CSV 다운로드”를 누르면, 그 결과가 사용자 기기에 CSV 파일로 저장됩니다.

임계치 등 옵션 값은
chrome.storage.local(사용자 기기)에만 저장됩니다. - 한국어 번역(선택): CSV 번역 옵션을 켜면 Chrome 내장 온디바이스 번역기(Translator API)로 기기 안에서 번역합니다. 원문·번역문 모두 외부 서버로 전송되지 않습니다.
3. 정보의 전송·공유
없습니다. 본 익스텐션은 개발자 또는 제3자의 서버로 어떤 데이터도 전송하지 않으며, 데이터를 판매·중개·공유하지 않습니다. 외부 분석 도구·광고 SDK·텔레메트리를 일절 포함하지 않습니다. 신용도 판단이나 대출 목적으로 데이터를 사용·전송하지 않습니다.
4. 권한
본 익스텐션은 어떤 사이트 접근 권한도 없는 상태로 설치됩니다.
사이트 권한은 optional_host_permissions 으로만 선언되어 있어, 사용자가
수집 소스를 켜거나 “수집 실행”을 누르는 시점에 브라우저가 직접 허용을
묻습니다. 허용한 소스의 사이트에만 접근하며, Chrome 설정에서 언제든 회수할 수 있고
회수되면 해당 소스는 자동으로 건너뜁니다.

5. 문의
SNS Trend Catcher — Privacy Policy (English)
SNS Trend Catcher is fully standalone and does not transmit any collected data to any external server.
1. Data we access
Only when you click “Run” in the popup, the extension reads public post/video metadata from X, Reddit, YouTube, Xiaohongshu, TikTok, and Instagram (hashtag) search results (post/video URL, title/body text, public author/channel name, public metrics such as likes/retweets/comments/views/score, published time) for your keyword. It does not access private content, DMs, account info, or login tokens. Reddit and YouTube require no login; X, Xiaohongshu, TikTok, and Instagram read the public search/hashtag page from your own logged-in session.
2. Use & storage
All processing happens on your device. Results are shown in the popup and saved only
as a CSV file when you explicitly download it. Threshold options are stored in
chrome.storage.local on your device. The optional Korean translation uses
Chrome's built-in on-device Translator API — both the original and translated text
stay on your device and are never sent to any server.
3. Site permissions
The extension installs with no site access at all. Host access is
declared only under optional_host_permissions and is requested by the
browser when you enable a source or press Run. It reaches only the sites you granted,
and you can revoke them at any time in Chrome settings — a revoked source is skipped.
4. Sharing
None. No data is sent to the developer or any third party; nothing is sold, brokered, or shared. No analytics, ad SDKs, or telemetry. Not used for creditworthiness or lending.
